They will auction it for charity on eBay

Mogwai are set to auction off drummer Martin Bulloch’s old pacemaker.

Bulloch is recovering after having a new pacemaker fitted today, and frontman Stuart Braithwaite has posted a bulletin on Myspace stating the band’s intention to sell the old pacemaker off for charity.

He said: “In the last few hours Martin got out of theatre after getting a new heart pacemaker fitted. As we did before we will be organizing an e-bay auction to sell his old pacemaker with the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. Details will follow shortly. Get well soon Martin!”
