Mogwai drummer to auction pacemaker Mogwai Tickets
Proceeds set to go to British Heart Foundation
Mogwai drummer Martin Bulloch is set to auction his pacemaker.
Bulloch underwent surgery to have a new pacemaker fitted and is currently recuperating, but he's auctioning his old pacemaker on eBay [url= http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mogwai-Drummers-Heart-Pacemaker_W0QQitemZ270172137345QQihZ017QQcategoryZ2328QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]eBay[/url].
Proceeds are set to go to the British Heart Foundation.
Speaking about the auction Martin said: "Selling my old pacemaker may be seen by some as a bit of a macabre idea, but if it helps the British Heart Foundation in its aim and ultimately raises a bit of cash for their ongoing work then I am more than happy to contribute.
"[Mogwai] have also decided that, along with the pacemaker, we will throw in a couple of access areas passes for the winner, for the Mogwai show nearest to them along with other assorted goodies. Happy bidding."
