Mogwai announce London screening of 'Burning' - ticket details

The group's live film will be shown at The Scala on June 3

Mogwai ICA, London January 2006
Mogwai have announced details of a special screening of their live film 'Burning' and you can see a trailer for it by scrolling down.

Taking place at The Scala on June 3, the evening, which is being called the 'Burning Party', will also include a live performance by Remember Remember, plus DJ sets by members of Mogwai, Fuck Buttons and Errors.

The movie, which was directed by Vincent Moon and Nataniel La Souanec, features footage of the band from their three Music Hall Of Williamsburg gigs in Brooklyn last April.

On working with Moon, frontman Stuart Braithwaite told NME.COM he had nothing but praise for the director.

"He's a really good guy and I think he really gets what we're all about," he explained. "He's an eccentric guy, but he's really hard working and he's got an amazing outlook."

He added: "It's not a traditional music film...there's a few abstract things of us walking around New York and a few little montages. There's no speaking in it at all, either."
