After Iceland, they tour the States, then Europe...

MOGWAI have announced details of a world tour, NME.COM can reveal.

The Glasgow band release their third album, 'Rock Action', on April 23 through Southpaw Recordings, which, as previously reported, features guest vocals from Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys on 'Dial:Revenge'.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, they play their first gig of the year at Reykjavik Gaukurinn Hall on March 14, before heading off to the US, where they will play:

Austin Music Hall (March 17)
Los Angeles El Rey Theatre (18)
San Francisco Bimbo's (19)
Seattle The Showbox (21)
Chicago Metro (24)
Toronto The Opera House (25)
Boston Somerville Theatre (27)
New York City Irving Plaza (28)

The band then play three dates in Japan at Tokyo Blitz on March 25, Nagoya Club Quattro the following night and Osaka Big Cat on 28th, before playing 10 dates on mainland Europe.
