Former Moloko singer Roisin Murphy has announced details of her second solo album.

’Overpowered’ will be released on October 15, and will be preceded by a single of the same title on July 9.

Murphy is set to make her live return playing this year’s Bestival event on the Isle Of Wight, which takes place between September 7-9.

Meanwhile the island's other, eponymous festival is set to take place this weekend (June 8-10) and will be headlined by Snow Patrol, Muse and The Rolling Stones.
