Morrissey closes V Festival in style

Morrissey ended up topless as he closed the V Festival in Chelmsford tonight (August 20).

The Hylands Park crowd were treated to an almost identical set from Stafford the previous evening, and Moz disrobed during set closer 'How Soon Is Now?'.

He also again lambasted several stations, including Virgin Radio, for not playing his new single 'In The Future When All's Well', out tomorrow (August 21). You could buy the version that he performed this evening by sending a text message to the number displayed on the giant screens.

Tonight also saw performances from Faithless, who attracted the day's biggest crowd on the V stage as they rolled out the likes of crowd favourites 'Insomnia' and 'God Is A DJ'.

Razorlight mixed up songs from their debut 'Up All Night' and their recent self-titled album while headlining the Channel 4 Stage.

Singer Johnny Borrell, who was stripped to the waist for much of the set, rolled through the likes of 'America', 'In The Morning', 'I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got', 'Vice and 'Golden Touch'.

Paul Weller rolled back the years by playing The Jam's classic 1982 Number One single 'Town Called Malice', while The Charlatans played a hit laden set which included the likes of 'One To Another', 'Tellin Stories' and classic hit single 'The Only One I Know'.

Singer Tim Burgess also dedicated their track 'Feel The Pressure' to Paris Hilton.
