The band are reportedly amongst the groups set for induction into the music pantheon next year in New York City.
However, Morrissey refuses to share a stage with drummer Mike Joyce.
The two were embroiled in an acrimonious lawsuit over royalties in 1996 and allegedly Morrissey has never forgiven the drummer, Yahoo News reports.
