Morrissey has cancelled his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, scheduled for tomorrow (June 30).

As previously reported here, the singer just days ago halted his Boston performance due to a throat infection. He was ordered by doctors not to sing for three days, and cancelled two east coast shows.

The Madison Square Garden date is currently being rescheduled, and the new date is expected to be announced on Monday (July 2).

Meanwhile, the singer still plans to perform at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia (July 2) and at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ (July 6)
