Morrissey will resume his tour of the US this evening with a performance at the Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA.

The singer had been suffering from a viral throat infection which caused him to quit a show in Boston last week (June 26) after just seven songs. Under advice from doctors, the former Smiths man then cancelled the remaining shows for the week including one at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Boston show has been rescheduled and will take place this Saturday (July 7), with further dates to be announced for the rescheduled shows in New York, Philadelphia and Northampton. Tickets for all the shows, including Boston, will be honoured at the rescheduled shows.
