Duo get another slot after Morrissey firing

Kristeenyoung have been confirmed to open for Ted Leo & The Pharmacists on their forthcoming US dates,

As previously reported, the duo were last month asked to leave their support slot on Morrissey’s US tour, after Young apparently made profane comments about Mozzer while onstage in New York.

The Myspace post in which Young commented on the incident has now been removed.

Meanwhile, the band are gearing up to record a new album in January, working with Morrissey/ David Bowie man Tony Visconti.

They will play:

Boston, MA Roxy (December 1)
Portland, ME SPACE (2)
Brooklyn, NY Music Hall of Williamsburg (4)
