Morrissey to release new album in February

Moz also collaborated with Chrissie Hynde during the recording sessions

Morrissey has announced the release date of his new album, 'Years Of Refusal'.

A statement on his True To You website confirmed that the 12-track album, produced by Jerry Finn, will be released on February 23.

Details of the first single to be taken from the album have also been revealed.

'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris' is set to precede the album, although no official date has been released. The single will be backed by two new songs, 'Because Of My Poor Education' and 'Shame Is The Name'.

'Shame Is The Name' features additional vocals from The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde.

It is not the first time Hynde has worked with Morrissey - she previously provided backing vocals on his 1991 single 'My Love Life'.
