Morrissey cancels London Royal Albert Hall gig (May 11)
Former Smiths man is following doctor's orders
Illness has forced Morrissey to cancel tonight's (May 11) gig at London's Royal Albert Hall.
A rescheduled date for the gig is yet to be announced, although a statement from SJM Concerts advises fans to hold onto their tickets and await further news.
"Event organisers would like to apologise to his fans for the disappointment but he is unable to perform and on doctor's orders has been told to rest," the statement read.
Morrissey successfully played a gig in the Liverpool Empire last night. His next show is set to take place on May 13 at Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
