Morrissey and Jake Bugg are just some of the artists confirmed to play the Nobel Peace Prize Concert this year.

The event, which has taken place annually on December 11 in Oslo, Norway, since 1994, is a musical tribute to honor the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

Other artists lined up to play the event include James Blunt, Mary J Blige and Omar Souleyman. The event will be hosted by actress Claire Danes.

According to Morrissey's Facebook page, he will play three tracks at the event.

The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate is one of the five Nobel Prizes along with awards in chemistry, physics, physiology or medicine and literature. It has been awarded annually since 1901 to those who have done the best work in promoting peace around the world. Previous winners include Barack Obama, Al Gore, and the European Union.
