Mos Def has cancelled his appearance at this year's Glastonbury festival.

As GlastonburyFestivals.co.uk reports, the rapper has pulled his set on the West Holts stage tonight (June 25) because of a "death in the family".

Mos Def was also due to perform with Gorillaz tonight (June 25) on the Pyramid Stage along with a string of special guests, including former Velvet Underground man Lou Reed.

NME will be coming live from Glastonbury throughout the weekend. Head to NME.COM/glastonbury for the latest festival news.
