MOTLEY CRUE SINGER WANTED ON ASSAULT CHARGES
Vince Neil accused of beating up producer in Los Angeles...
Police in the LOS ANGELES district of BEVERLY HILLS have issued a warrant for the arrest of MOTLEY CRUE singer VINCE NEIL, who allegedly attacked a record producer in a nightclub parking lot.
According to vh1.com, the warrant, issued on Wednesday (August 7), stems from an April 28 incident involving Michael Schuman, who accuses Nei of taunting him outside of a club and then punching him numerous times in the face, knocking him to the ground.
Neil faces misdemeanour battery charges, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said.
A spokesperson for Schuman said the producer does not know Neil and that the attack was unprovoked.
Neil's management issued a statement yesterday (August 8) saying, "Vince Neil has fully co-operated with the L.A. County investigators. We believe that the charges against him are ridiculous and that he will be fully exonerated."
If convicted, Neil would face a maximum of six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
