Nikki Sixx: 'Tommy Lee was f**cking around'
Motley Crüe man talks about his former drummer's exit
Motley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has spoken about former drummer Tommy Lee’s exile from the band.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Lee had left the band after a series of legal disputes.
Speaking about Lee’s exit, Sixx told thelondonpaper: “He’s out of the band, that’s just the way it is. Tommy Lee kept fucking around and I said, ‘you know what dude, you’ve got to knock it off’. He said, ‘I fucking quit.’ I said, ‘fine. I still love you but I don’t have time for this’.”
As previously reported on NME.COM, Lee had left the band after a series of legal disputes.
