Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil arrested on drink-driving charge in Las Vegas

Singer's bail is set at $2,000 (£1,320) according to Las Vegas police

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has been arrested on a drink-driving charge in Las Vegas.

The 49-year-old is being held at the Clark County jail pending a court appearance after his arrest early this morning (June 28).

The singer was arrested at his Las Vegas restaurant Vince Neil's Tres Rios.

Las Vegas police officer Barbara Morgan confirmed the arrest – the singer's bail has been set at $2,000 (£1,320), according to the Associated Press.

Neil has previously been arrested on assault claims and charges. In October 2004, he was the subject of a warrant after being involved in a fight during a concert in Texas.
