SICK IN THE MUD

And they are offering free singles to UK fans by way of apology...

SICK IN THE MUD
Industrial rockers MUDVAYNE have cancelled their forthcoming UK tour because of problems with vocalist CHAD's voice.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM that Chad has been suffering throat problems following the band's US tour last month.

He said: "Chad has suffered strain to his vocal chords due to an injury occurring while touring on the West Coast in the US last month. Unfortunately, he has not had an opportunity to rest his voice since then and the condition has led the band to have to postpone the rest of our European tour. We are very frustrated with this situation, but feel confident that after a short break Chad will be back to 100 per cent.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience and share the disappointment of our fans that were excited to see the shows."

The affected shows are at: Glasgow Garage (March 25)
Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (26)
Manchester MDH (27)
London Astoria (28)

As compensation for the cancellations, the band are giving away a free seven-inch single as compensation. The first 1,000 UK residents to write to the band c/o Epic Records at 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP, will receive the vinyl, which features a live version of their track 'Cradle'.

Tickets can be returned to point of purchase, where a full refund will be given.
