Marcus Mumford has said that playing with Bruce Springsteen at Pinkpop festival in Holland this summer was the best day of his life.

The Mumford and Sons frontman, whose band today unveiled the video for their new track 'I Will Wait', said he will never stop watching YouTube footage of the gig – which you can watch below.

"It was the best fucking day of my life – unbelievable," he told the Sunday Times. "The Boss had watched our show, which I didn't know until the penultimate song, when I turned round and saw him in his Ray-Bans, nodding."

He added: "We watched his set from behind the monitor desk, then, halfway through 'Hungry Heart', he nodded at us and waved us onstage. He grabbed me round the neck and shoved the microphone in my face. Have I watched the YouTube footage? Absolutely, from every single angle. I never watch our band, but I'll never stop watching that."

Mumford and Sons unveiled their new video for 'I Will Wait' today, which you can also watch below.

The promo was filmed in the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on August 28 and sees the band performing their new single in front of a packed crowd on their current 'Gentlemen Of The Road' US tour.

The track is taken from 'Babel', which is the follow-up to the quartet's debut 'Sigh No More' and will be released on September 24. It has been produced by Arcade Fire/Coldplay collaborator Markus Dravs, who also worked with the band on their first album.

A number of other 'Babel' tracks, including 'Lover's Eyes' and 'Ghosts That We Knew', have been debuted in the band's live shows throughout their recent tours.

The tracklisting for 'Babel' is as follows:

'Babel'
'Whispers In The Dark'
'I Will Wait'
'Holland Road'
'Ghosts That We Knew'
'Lover Of The Light'
'Lovers’ Eyes'
'Reminder'

'Broken Crown'
'Below My Feet'
