Mumford & Sons unveil 'Babel' video – watch

The London band headline T In The Park festival this weekend

Mumford and Sons have unveiled the video for the title track of their second album, 'Babel'.

The black and white promo clip was shot in San Francisco and features multiple versions of the four band members playing in a deserted music hall. Click above to watch the video.

The band's 2012 album recently climbed 15 places on the Official UK Albums Chart to hit Number One on Sunday. The record has spent 41 weeks in the charts since its release in 2012. It originally reached Number One during its first week of release last year. The spike in sales follows the band's closing headline performance on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage and well as their one-day event at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park last Saturday (June 6).

Mumford & Sons will headline this weekend's T In The Park festival in Kinross as well as heading up their own Summer Stampede event in Phoenix Park in Dublin on July 14. They will also host their Gentlemen of the Road Stopover show in Lewes on July 19-20, which will also see performances from Vampire Weekend, The Vaccines, Mystery Jets, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Johnny Flynn & the Sussex Wit and The Very Best Sound System.

Buy this week's NME to read an exclusive interview with the band about how they almost cancelled Glastonbury after bass player Ted Dwane underwent emergency brain surgery last month.
