Mumm-Ra are among the bands that have been confirmed for this year's The Great Escape festival.

The event, held at a variety of venues across Brighton, will take place between May 17-19.

Also confirmed at present are Ripchord, who are signed to the influential 1965 Records, and Mr Hudson And The Library.

Ripchord recently featured on NME’s free 1965 Records sampler CD.

Last year’s Great Escape festival featured, among others, The Fratellis, Klaxons and The Cribs.

More acts are expected to be announced soon, see The Great Escape’s website for more information.
