The auction for memorabilia collected from the likes of Strokes, MUSE[/url], Ash, Starsailor and the Dandy Warhols following last week's NME CARLING AWARDS is hotting up - with the proceeds being donated to WAR CHILD.

Amongst the peculiar pieces of rock 'n' roll detritus ready for purchase on Ebay are a book of matches from Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jnr, a British Airways executive club card from Muse[/url] frontman Matt Bellamy and a bottle of champagne from garage stars Oxide & Neutrino.

Bellamy is proving popular, with the highest bid currently standing at £62 for his BA card. Bidding for Albert Hammond's box of matches currently stands at £16, while a £1 coin given to NME by 'The Office' star Ricky Gervais is currently valued at £4.20.
