The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival is set to grow after it’s capacity was increased this afternoon (June 16).
Reading Borough Council’s Licensing Panel have agreed to increase the number of guests at this year’s bash to 80,000, up from last year’s capacity of 66,500.
Those who registered for the festival waiting list via Readingfestival.com will be contacted via email about buying the extra tickets now available.
Anyone on that list has until 9am on June 20 to claim their reservation, after which the remaining tickets will go sale to the public.
The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival takes place between August 25 and 27, with Franz Ferdinand, Muse and Pearl Jam set to headline this year’s bash.
