Muse voted festival band of the summer

NME readers declare them the stars of 2006

NME readers have voted Muse ‘festival champs’ of 2006 after their sets at the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals last month.

The band just pipped perennial favourites Radiohead, while newcomers like The Kooks and The Automatic also scored so highly.
