The 2007 Big Day Festival got underway at this weekend (January 19,21).

The tour festival kicked off in Auckland, New Zealand (19), before moving to Australia’s Gold Coast Parklands earlier today (21).

Attracting big crowds for both opening legs, the line-up was led by Tool, The Killers, Muse and the Streets, while local talent included the likes of The Sleepy Jackson and You Am I.

The event is now set to move on with shows at the following sites:

Sydney (January 25)
Melbourne (28)
Adelaide (February 2)
Perth (4)

The main headliners are set to play all the remaining dates, though some parts of the line will change from venue to venue.
