Band say they'll use FA Cup to prepare for own shows

Muse are set to get a sneak preview of a full Wembley Stadium at today’s (May 19) FA Cup Final.

The band are playing two sold out shows at the home of English Football on June 16 and 17, but will get to see what the rebuilt stadium in north London looks like when it’s full as Manchester United and Chelsea contest football’s oldest cup competition.

The band’s bassist Chris Wolstenholme told NME.COM he will be attending today’s game and will be letting his bandmates know what the venue is like.

“I only found out a couple of days ago I’d got tickets, it should be really exciting,” he explained. “It will be really good to see the game, but also really useful us to see what it looks like when it’s full. Because of the design of the stadium a lot of people will be watching us play there from above so we’ve had to take that into account when designing our stage sets.”

Meanwhile come back to NME.COM on Monday (May 21) for a special announcement regarding the band’s Wembley gigs.
