Muse fans united in central London tonight (June 15) for a mass singalong.
A chorus of over 300 fans sang 30 of the band's hits in Trafalgar Square accompanied by one acoustic guitar.
Money raised from the singalong will be distributed between three charities: Cancer Research, The Helen Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society
According to organiser Jordan Chambers the idea for it came quite organically.
He said: “Whenever I’m out in town with my mates in a club, they’ll play a load of random tracks that I’ve never heard of and then they’ll play a Muse song and I’ll be the only one dancing to it. That seems to happen to so many Muse fans. So I thought it would be good to have a get together with like minded people and have a big sing along."
Chambers got the fans to sign a specially made poster that he promised he would send to the band.
Many fans had come specially dressed for the occasion with some making their own Muse themed clothes for the event.
Colin Williams was wearing a specially made quilt. He said : "I'm an obsessed Muse fan. My girlfriend made the quilt- we bought the fabric from a shop and she spent about three days making it!"
