Muse bring their stadium rock to the Albert Hall

Muse headlined Saturday's (April 12) leg of the star-studded Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The fourth in the series of charity shows, which previously saw acts such as Madness and Paul Weller grace the stage earlier this week, saw the main floor cleared of chairs in preparation for the three-piece's fans.

After a set from support band The Futureheads, Muse took to the stage dressed completely in black - apart from drummer Dominic Howard who sported a pair of neon green trousers.

Launching into their signature opera-rock, Matt Bellamy flitted between guitar and grand piano as the band performed favourites including 'Supermassive Black Hole', 'New Born' and 'Plug In Baby'.

Playing tracks from all four of their albums, complete with front-of-stage smoke cannons and big white balloons falling into the crowd towards the end of the set, Muse's two-hour set received resounding applause at the end.

The gig was the threesome's first UK show since their sell-out Wembley Stadium dates last summer.
