'Who Knows Who' is doing the rounds on the internet now

A song suspected to be a collaboration between Muse and The Streets has leaked on the internet.

Links to download the track, titled 'Who Knows Who', have been doing the rounds on various messageboards this morning (August 5).

The song features a heavy, crunching Rage Against The Machine-style riff with The Streets' Mike Skinner rapping frenetically over the top.

As previously-reported on NME.COM Muse frontman Matt Bellamy said he would like to create England's answer to Rage Against The Machine with Skinner. He said the collaboration would be a "one-off".

I heard about it a few days ago, it's pretty good. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. :] Its a good attempt.

The music sounds all right, but the "rapping" is awful, i now they probably recorded it in a day, but still, both artist are better on their own.

There are a hell of a lot of disgruntled fans, they don't like Mike's rappingMuse fans are die hard, most don't like change but they warm to it eventuallyMe? I loved it the first time I heard it, it rawks! Good on them for getting together to do something, Muse have never worked with anyone other than their producers and remember guys and gals, it's only a one-off for a laugh ;)

Good riff but it would be as its robbed straight from a Mars Volta song. Namely the outro riff of Cygnus Vismund Cygnus.

reminds me more of Limp Bizkit or similar bands than of RATM... maybe the next attempt will be better but this does not really sound too good.

It sounds like Goldie Lookin Chain taking on Rage. I think Muse come out of it with their dignity intact, not sure about Skinner though. Actually, if they keep at the RATM stuff I reckon Muse could come out with something special, they should dump Skinner though.

Its actually alright, considering it involves mike skinner. I sort of see the mars volta point, but I'm not totally sure. It's definitely ripping off ratm.

@ VerodaClient - it's actually a Led Zeppelin riff - Heartbreaker

Its more like cygnus than heartbreaker!

I actually quite like it (mainly because it's Muse) but Skinner doesn't really sound right. Would be much better if Matt sung something a bit more Musey without skinner. Only 2 weeks 'til they play V fest! Wooooo!

VerodaClient - It's not a Mars Volta riff. It's Led Zep's Heartbreaker riff.

Actually, now that ye mention it, its a mixture of the two. The first part is heartbreaker and the tail end (which isnt in heartbreaker) is what makes it like cygnus. Listen to the end of cygnus and you'll hear what I mean

I am Muses' biggest fan (in New Zealand anyways) but listening to that track was like submittign myself to listening to fingernails being run down a blackboard. the music was deffinitley reminiscive of Rage but ergh the rapping was shite. - Viki :)PS - no offence Muse! loooove you!

The Muse have taken an average Mike Skinner and have made a decent go at it. It's forgettable.
