Muse and Peter Andre beat Jay-Z to the top of the UK album chart

Muse have gone straight to the top of the UK album chart tonight (September 20), with their fifth album 'The Resistance'.

Matt Bellamy and co beat Vera Lynn into second place in the chart, with Peter Andre's new album 'Revelation' going in at Number Three. Jay-Z's new album 'The Blueprint 3' reached Number Four.

In the singles chart, Taio Cruz's new single 'Break Your Heart' beat Madonna's 'Congratulations' to the top spot. Last week's Number One, Pixie Lott's 'Boys & Girls' slips to Number Six.
