Muse closed the first day of musical action at the T In The Park festival 2010 tonight (July 9), playing a spectacular headline set on the Main Stage.

The three-piece, fresh from headlining Glastonbury two weekends ago, played a 15-song set as the sun set on the Balado site.

Wearing his glittery silver suit, frontman Matt Bellamy led the band through opener 'Uprising', later leading Led Zeppelin-style jams between songs as they played hits including 'New Born', 'Hysteria' and their cover of the song made famous by Nina Simone, 'Feeling Good'.

The band were playing in front of a lit-up grid of hexagonal screens hosting videos, while during 'New Born' then later in the set green lasers fired above the crowd.

Later on they enjoyed an interlude, playing a short instrumental version of folk song 'The House Of The Rising Sun', famously a UK chart-topper for The Animals in 1964.

Following 'Resistance' and 'Time Is Running Out' they encored with 'Plug In Baby' and 'Knights Of Cydonia', Bellamy yelling "Scotland!" as the song ended and the first day of T In The Park 2010 came to an close.

Muse played:

'Uprising'
'Supermassive Black Hole'
'Map Of The Problematique'
'New Born'
'Hysteria'
'Unnatural Selection'
'Nishe'
'United States Of Eurasia'
'Feeling Good'
'Undisclosed Desires'
'Resistance'
'Time Is Running Out'
'Starlight'
'Stockholm Syndrome'
'Plug In Baby'
'Knights Of Cydonia'
