Susan Boyle has beaten the likes of Mumford and Sons, Muse, Gorillaz and Take That to become the highest-selling UK act abroad in 2010.

Newly-announced figures show that her second album 'The Gift' sold 3.7 million copies abroad last year.

She beat second place Sade, whose 'Soldier Of Love' album sold 2.3 million. 'Sigh No More' by Mumford and Sons is third in the list, selling 1.3 million copies abroad, while Muse's 'The Resistance' sold one million.

It is the second year in a row that Boyle has topped the sales list, which is compiled by Musicweek.com. Her debut album 'I Dreamed A Dream' sold in excess of six million copies abroad in 2009 - making her top of the list that year too.
