Muse spark stadium fire fears in Coventry while rehearsing live show
Band were warming up for gig at Ricoh Arena when onlookers thought stadium was ablaze
The band will perform live at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Wednesday night (May 22) and were rehearsing some of the special effects that are used in their live show on Monday night. However, with flames rising above the top of the stadium, onlookers thought it was on fire and immediately began flagging their concerns on Twitter and Facebook. At one point in the evening the name of the stadium and Coventry were trending topics in the UK, leading the Ricoh Arena's official Twitter account to clarifying the situation for those concerned.
