It's one of several new songs Pharrell has recorded for the soundtrack to upcoming movie 'Hidden Figures'.

Pharrell Williams has dropped another new song pair from the soundtrack to upcoming movie Hidden Figures.

He previously shared the songs ‘Surrender’ and ‘Runnin’ from the film’s soundtrack. Now a third offering called ‘Crave’ is streaming online – listen below.

Pharrell serves as a producer on the upcoming movie and also co-ordinated its soundtrack. It stars Empire actress Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, the NASA research mathematician who played a crucial role in helping the US catch up in the Space Race.

The film’s cast also includes Janelle Monáe, Octavia Spencer, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst and The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons. It opens in US cinemas on December 25 – check out the trailer below.

Meanwhile, Pharrell has recently confirmed that he is making another album with N.E.R.D., saying it will arrive “when it’s time”.

The funk-rock trio – Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley – recorded three songs together for the 2014 movie The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water but last released an album in 2010.

He has also talked about working with Justin Timberlake on his next album.

“Songwise, I think we’ve got a good solid six that are like, ‘Whoa, what was that? Play that again.’ I would pay Justin a huge compliment to say he’s just discovering who he is now,” Pharrell said earlier this month (November).
