Rapper XXXTentacion to be released and put on house arrest

The Florida artist was jailed last week

XXXTentacion will be released from prison and put on “very strict house arrest conditions”, it has been reported.

Last week, the Florida MC was jailed after he filed a document from an ex-girlfriend earlier this month, claiming that she no longer wants XXXTentacion to be prosecuted for domestic abuse against her.

This followed the rapper being charged with a litany of crimes – including the aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and false imprisonment because of a series of alleged attacks on his ex-girlfriend.

However, the prosecutors believe the rapper illegally coerced his ex-girlfriend into signing the document and he was then jailed without bail. He was charged with seven new felonies – including various degrees of witness tampering and witness harassment.

Now, TMZ report that XXXTentacion will be released from prison and put on house arrest, according to his attorney David Bogenschutz.

It is claimed that the MC will be allowed to visit a local recording studio to fulfil contractual obligations. However, law enforcements have said that the house arrest conditions will be “very restrictive”,  and that XXXTentacion is not permitted to have any contact with the victims or witnesses in the case.

Bogenschutz said that once the 60-day house arrest period is over, his team will attempt to get him released while they prepare for the case.

The reported victim found out she was pregnant by the rapper. Paranoid that it wasn’t his, he allegedly threatened to kill her and the baby before “elbowing, head-butting, and punching her”.
