3Oh!3: ‘T In The Park audiences are better than those at Leeds Festival’

US rappers get Scottish crowd in the party mood

3OH!3 hailed their T In The Park crowd as “the best in the UK” during their set at the Scottish festival today (July 9).

The US rappers helped kick off the Scottish bash by taking to the stage in the King Tuts Wah Wah Tent before a heaving audience.

“We played at the Leeds Festival but you guys are the fucking craziest we’ve had in the UK,” the band’s Nathaniel Motte told fans between songs, causing huge cheers among the revellers.

Elsewhere in 3OH!3‘s set, the band incited a mass dance-off during current single ‘My First Kiss’. Backed by a live band, they started the track by getting the crowd to sing along to a chorus of “Here we fucking go” (the first of several renditions of the phrase during their set) before enticing them to “jump up and fucking down” as much as possible.

“Scotland, what the fuck is up?!” Motte shouted midway through the set, later revealing that the band were “super duper excited” to be playing the festival.

3OH!3 played:

‘Beaumont’
‘Starstrukk’
‘Punkbitch’
‘My First Kiss’
‘I’m Not Your Boyfriend’
‘House Party’
‘Chokechain’
‘Don’t Trust Me’
