50 Cent pushes back album release date

'Curtis' is now due out in September

50 Cent has pushed back the release date of his new album, ‘Curtis’, from June 26 to September 4.

The late summer release date will allow the rapper additional time to complete the tracks for the follow-up to 2005’s ‘The Massacre’, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard chart.

Radio has been slow to pick up the two singles from ‘Curtis’‘Straight to the Bank’ and ‘Amusement Park’ — which are at Numbers 49 and 53 respectively, reports Billboard.

Eminem, Dr Dre and Timbaland have worked on the new album’s production. ‘Curtis’ also features guest appearances from Justin Timberlake, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Akon and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls, as previously reported.
