Watch Adele brings 10-year-old fan on stage during Glastonbury headline set

Adele has brought a 10-year-old girl on stage with her during her Glastonbury headline slot.

A few songs into the set, she asked the lighting technician to put the lights on the crowd so she could see them.

“Keep the lights on,” she instructed. “I want one of you to come up and say hello to me.”

She chose a young girl on the barrier, who was lifted onto the stage. Once up there Adele told the crowd: “Glastonbury means the world to me. I’m not even lying.” She added to the fan: “I’ve coming to Glastonbury since I was your age, my darling girl.”

She took the fan to the end of the stage to get a “selfie” taken. “Do you wanna take a picture of us up here unless your battery’s dead?”

Adele also asked the girl what her favourite colour was and who she was looking forward to seeing tomorrow, suggesting tomorrow night’s headliners Coldplay. “I saw them recently in Barcelona. I don’t know how they keep getting better and better,” she said.
