Adele’s ’25’ album will be added to Spotify and Apple Music at midnight

Blockbuster album has been available to buy since last November

Adele‘s blockbuster album ’25’ is finally coming to leading services Spotify and Apple Music.

The album’s singles ‘Hello’, ‘When We Were Young’ and ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’ are already available on many streaming services, but the full album will be added to Spotify and Apple Music at midnight tonight (June 23), representatives for both companies have confirmed.

Adele released ’25’ on November 20 and saw it sell over 17 million copies worldwide before the end of the year. It has now gone on to sell over 19 million copies worldwide. Its lead single ‘Hello’ was also a global chart-topper.

In December, Adele expressed her reservations about streaming in an interview with Time, saying: “I know that streaming music is the future, but it’s not the only way to consume music. I can’t pledge allegiance to something that I don’t know how I feel about yet.”

Her album’s arrival on Spotify and Apple Music comes less than 48 hours before her eagerly-anticipated Glastonbury set. She will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday night of the festival (June 25) as part of her ‘Adele Live 2016’ world tour, which began in February and runs until November. During a recent gig, she paid tribute to the victims of the recent homophobic terrorist attack in Orlando, Florida.
