'21' songsmith Ryan Tedder says he wants to bring the pair together for a collaboration
Billboard reports that Ryan Tedder, who has also written for the likes of Beyonce and Leona Lewis, let slip that he was penning a track for the ‘Video Games’ songstress and ‘212’ rapper at last night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles (February 12).
Tedder, who is also the frontman of OneRepublic, refused to divulge any specifid details about the collaboration, but said:
I’ve been canceling a lot of more expected writing sessions to do stuff that just freaks me out that I thinks cool. Azealia Banks scares me. Lana Del Rey scares me a little bit. Not in a bad way.
‘Rolling In The Deep’ was named Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year, while ’21’ was awarded the Album of the Year prize. She also scored awards for Best Pop Solo Performance for her track ‘Someone Like You’ as well as Best Pop Vocal Album for ’21’, and Best Short Form Music Video for ‘Rolling In The Deep’.

She will play a headline show at London’s Heaven venue on February 27 and is also set to appear as the opening act on the 2012 NME Awards Tour. Two Door Cinema Club will headline the tour, with Metronomy and Tribes also on the bill.
