‘Neighbours’ exec invites Adele to appear in the soap

Soap say they'd love to take up singer's offer of a cameo

Adele has been offered the chance to appear on the long-running Australian soap opera Neighbours, after the show’s executive director was informed that she was a fan.

The ’21’ singer revealed yesterday (June 1) that she’d love to appear on the show, saying: “I love Neighbours and especially Harold. He plays the tuba so I’d love to ask him to play on some of the tracks. In return I could do a cameo on Neighbours like Lily Allen did. But I have to overcome my fear of flying all that way first.”

According to Digital Spy, the show’s executive director Susan Bower said: “I can promise Adele she would receive a huge Neighbours welcome from all the cast and crew. We would love her to have some fun with us on Ramsay Street. I’m a huge fan and I know a number of the cast are also.”

Adele‘s second album ’21’ is currently Number Three in the Australian album chart.
