Adele surprises fans on the first night of her ’25’ tour in Manchester

Five lucky fans received a message from the superstar in the pages of their programmes

Adele gave her five of her fans a huge surprise on the first night of her ’25’ tour in Manchester yesterday evening (March 7).

According to the Manchester Evening News, the star – who took to the stage for the first of four sold-out shows at Manchester Arena last night – had secretly signed a number of souvenir programmes, which were sold at random at the merchandise stalls inside the 22,000 capacity venue.

Shocked fan Ben Mycroft was one of the lucky few who managed to get his hands on one of the special programmes, taking to Twitter to share a snap of the hand-signed brochure.

Her message read: “I’ve only signed five of these. Thanks to coming to my first Manchester show. Adele x.”

The fan accompanied the snap with the caption: “Words can never thank you enough @Adele thank you for my signed Tour Merch Program.”

The ’Hello’ singer is expected to secretly sign more programmes for her show tonight (March 8) and those on Thursday and Friday.

It’s not the first time Adele has gone out of her way to surprise her fans, with the star hitting the headlines last week for visiting a seriously ill fan at her home in Belfast.

Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning star also recently revealed that she could have new material out by the end of the year.
