Listen to Frances team up with Adele’s ‘Hello’ songwriter on ‘Say It Again’

Fresh from her Glastonbury BBC Introducing performance

Frances has revealed her new single, ‘Say It Again’, which she worked on with songwriter Greg Kurstin, who co-wrote Adele’s smash-hit single ‘Hello’ last year. You can listen to the track in full below.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Newbury, Berkshire, who gained plaudits for her surprise performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury last month (June), previously said Kurstin is “the nicest guy on the planet”, after spending time in LA working with him on the track earlier this year.

Frances told Digital Spy, “He’s got two sweet little dogs who hop into the studio and lives in the most amazing part of LA where you can just stand outside and see everything. He got stuff out of me that I would never have done on my own.

“I was sat in the chair recording my vocals thinking, ‘Oh my god, Adele was here a couple of months ago.’ But he’s so down to earth.”

Frances, who counts Adele as a huge inspiration for her work, was previously nominated for the Brits Critics’ Choice Awards and the BBC Sound Of 2016, and has been working on her debut album, which is planned for release this year. Her previous single, ‘Borrowed Time’, was produced by Disclosure’s Howard Lawrence.
