The Aerosmith man played his hit on the streets of Moscow
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has been spending some time in Moscow, and stopped off to give a quick street-performance as he explored the city.
Tyler gave a rendition of the band’s US Number One single ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’, a hit from the film Armageddon, in front of a small audience alongside a busker on an acoustic guitar. The band recently posted a news article on their official site celebrating the 17th anniversary of the track, which is also their highest-charting UK effort at Number Four.
The Russian appearance follows a 17-venue North American tour that finished in early August.
Tyler announced earlier this year that he’ll be releasing a solo country album, while Aerosmith’s 16th studio album remains little more than a rumour.
Tyler has signed to Taylor Swift‘s label Big Machine for the solo effort, which he’ll finish over the coming months.
Last year, he told Rolling Stone: “I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire… I have more country in me than people think.”
