AIR return with a new album on February 14 next year entitled ‘The Virgin Suicides’, the soundtrack album for the feature debut of Sofia Copolla, daughter of Francis, cousin of Nicholas Cage and sister of Roman. The score by JB Dunckel and Nicolas Godin is mostly instrumental apart from opening song ‘Playground Love’ and sounds vaguely 70s Pink Floyd/prog rockish. The tracks are ‘Playground Love’ ‘Clouds Up’ ‘Bathroom Girl’ ‘Cemetary Party’ ‘Dark Messages’ ‘The Word ‘Hurricane’ ‘Dirty Trip’ ‘High School Lover’ ‘Afternoon Sister’ ‘Ghost Song’ ‘Empty House’ ‘Dead Bodies’ ‘Suicide Underground’ The duo are currently working on the follow up to ‘Moon Safari’ in Paris, which is set for release at the end of 2000.
