has revealed she wants to return to Britain this summer and play either GLASTONBURY or the CARLING WEEKEND festivals.

Talking to NME.COM in an exclusive interview after her one-off gig last week at London Kings’ College, she said: “Festivals are one of my favourite things to do, so I’d love to come back here in the summer and maybe do some. I don’t know if we’ve ever done Reading I’d like to come to play either of them, either that (Reading) or Glastonbury would be great.”

She added she also keen to go the Burning Man festival in Arizona, US. “I wanna check that out and just wear a hat and go for it, run around naked in the mud like everyone else,” she laughed.

Over here to promote current single ‘Hands Clean’, Alanis Morissette, 27, said she also planned to do some proper tour dates in the UK later this year to promote new album ‘Under Rug Swept’, out on March 4.

“(The UK) is one of my favourite places,” she explained. “Just the people, and the openness and the uninhibited vibe and your humour is different from North America in a way that I find so charming and so hysterical. Always ironic, always a little sarcastic and just really quick. John Cleese world!”
