The Appleton sisters bring split closer by refusing to go on European summer tour...

ALL SAINTS look set to cancel their European tour, fuelling speculation that the band are on the brink of splitting.

According to reports this morning (January 19), sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton are refusing to appear at the 25 dates planned for this summer, and fellow band members Shaznay Lewis and Mel Blatt are currently considering whether or not to continue with the shows as a duo.

The band will lose millions of pounds if they decide to scrap the dates completely.

According to The Sun newspaper, the girls signed an agreement last Friday (January 12) to complete their obligations in Britain, including a tour in May.

But they also report that a band insider said: “The four can’t even stand to be in the same room – it will be a miracle if they get through the UK dates”.

The paper also reported that relations have deteriorated so badly in the group that Nicole and Natalie now only talk to Shaznay and Mel through solicitors.

NME.COM was still waiting for a comment from the band’s label London as we went to press.
