Alt J have said that they won’t be replacing former bassist Gwil Sainsbury, who left the band in January – watch the interview above.

Speaking to NME at the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas, keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton said: “It’s possible we’ll have somebody to play with us on tour. But as for the band, it’ll just be us three.”

The band also said that they are currently recording their new album, which they would like to see released within a year. Their debut LP, ‘An Awesome Wave’, was released in 2012 and went on to win that year’s Mercury Music Prize.
