The singer will now play a run of shows in July as well as appearing at Glastonbury
Amanda Palmer has rescheduled her cancelled UK tour, which was set to take place in March.
The singer-songwriter will now play a run of UK and Ireland shows in July with her band the Grand Theft Orchestra, as part of a wider European tour. Tickets go on sale April 5. Tickets purchased from regional vendors for the original shows remain valid.
Palmer originally cancelled her touring commitments in order to be close to her “life-long mentor” and “best friend” C Anthony Martignetti, who is battling cancer.
Amanda Palmer will also be playing Glastonbury Festival on June 28. The shows follow her appearances at last month’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, where she sang with Billy Bragg.
Amanda Palmer will play:
Manchester The Ritz (July 11)
London Roundhouse (12)
Brighton Concorde (13)
Bristol O2 Academy (15)
Birmingham The Institute (16)
Edinburgh Picture House 17)
Dublin The Academy (18)
