The punk frontman was booked in Los Angeles and found to be over the legal drinking limit
Amen frontman Casey Chaos has been arrested after allegedly crashing his vehicle into around 15 parked cars in Los Angeles last night (July 5).
The punk singer was arrested at his home in the Studio City area for driving under the influence. TMZ reports that Chaos – real name Karim Chmielinski – fled the scene after allegedly crashing his SUV into a string of cars, but was found at home not long after, where he was arrested. TMZ claims that the frontman’s blood alcohol level was just above .08, which is the legal limit in California.
Amen released their last studio album, ‘Death Before Musick’, in 2004. In 2005 he released ‘Gospels for the Sick’ with his side project Scum.
Casey Chaos is the only original member of Amen still in the band. Over the years he has collaborated with a host of rock and metal artists, including Henry Rollins, Iggy Pop and the Sex Pistols, as well as working with Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri, the latter formerly of Queens Of The Stone Age, on a project called Headband.
